At the present stage, long holidays are limited in a year and paid leave don't cover all working people. Under such circumstances, excursion or short distance travel is a good choice for many over the two-day weekends. This is viable because a growing number of people having private cars, love nature and enjoy one day or two-day countryside life to release their work stress.

Also, Guangdong has diversified landscapes, beautiful natural sceneries and rich folk customs in the rural areas which are not very far to big cities like Guangzhou and Shenzhen.
